This past week our city was preparing as Hurricane Laura approached the Gulf. While there was no direct impact in Houston as the storm shifted, our neighbors in the east were not as fortunate as Laura left behind a trail of destruction in its path. Many are hurting from this devastating hurricane but in this season, we get remind them of God’s goodness through our generosity as we become the hands and feet of Jesus to those affected by Laura.
As a church we are partnering alongside Attack Poverty to bring aid to those in affected areas. As we evaluate needs, there is 3 ways you can get involved in immediately.
Pray:
We believe in the power of prayer. The bible lets us know that “God is a very present help in trouble,” and we are believing this for those affected. Help us to pray for God’s protection, provision and covering for anyone affected by Hurricane Laura.
Donate
The bible tell us in 2 Corinthians 9:11 that “you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous...” Ask God to lead you as you partner with us in bringing relief to those affected by Hurricane Laura. To donate click on the tab at the bottom of page.
